Not all of Lazerwitz’s work is based on data analysis or particular mythology. Sometimes, her work is just a celebration of form like this piece. When Lazerwitz first got her tufting gun she just wanted to have a play around. The result is this piece which clearly shows Lazerwitz’s love of graphical forms and high contrast shapes. The variety of line weight and texture shows the process of learning how to use the equipment and the breadth of its ability.
