LAC SHOP ExtendedAuthenticity Protection

In the event that you uncover an inauthentic work,LAC SHOP provides you with 180 days from the date of delivery to report theissue to us. The following will be included in the Extended AuthenticityProtection:

•    Fake/fraudulent Works and unlicensed reproductions inaccuratelylisted as “By” the artist.
•    Works listed as “By” the artist, with a creation date within the artist’s lifetime, butwere actually produced posthumously by the artist’s estate.
•    Grossmisrepresentations which have a significant impact on the value of the work - as defined by LAC SHOP’s Conditions of Sale.

The Authenticity Protection does not apply to anyother aspects of the work, such as the edition size, signature information, orartwork dimensions. In certain instances, the authorship of a work may beuncertain or difficult to determine with certainty. Consequently, LAC SHOP maydesignate these items as "Attributed to" an artist, such as"Attributed to Pablo Picasso." These attributions indicate that the authorship of the work is ambiguous, and as a result, LAC SHOP's AuthenticityProtection does not apply to them.
