Xiaosu Jing's artwork is an exploration of life and death, consciousness, and the subconscious. Since COVID-19, the fear and reverence for death have profoundly influenced her life and thoughts. Until the end of 2022, she began to place herself in a broader perspective to rethink the essence of life, exploring Zhuangzi's view on the equality of life and death. This led her to contemplate the social attributes of "death" and the relationship between human collective consciousness and the subconscious. Most of her works are a combination of painting and installation. This work is divided into individual watercolours and watercolours with installations.
