Deng Xiao explores space, philosophy, and futurism through art.

Deng Xiao graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, specializing in Spatial Art and Design. Born into an artistic family, her father is a renowned Chinese sculptor. Artistic creation is both her faith and an instinctive, primal driving force. Since graduating in 2010, Deng Xiao has continuously engaged in artistic creation, maintaining a successful artistic career. Her works often reflect contemplations on mysterious and unknown realms. The pieces exude an aura from higher-dimensional spacetime, presenting metaphysical poetry, technological sensibility, cosmic conjecture, and futuristic intellect. A strong internal logic of Chinese philosophy permeates her creations.

Deng Xiao has produced a vast array of works in diverse forms, primarily art installations, sculptures, video art, and public art. She has consistently participated in significant art exhibitions and projects in China, the UK, and the US since before and after her graduation from CSM. Due to her outstanding portfolio, she was invited by the European Cultural Centre to participate in the 2023 Venice Biennale Architecture Exhibition Parallel Event and the 2nd Venice Metaverse Annual Exhibition in 2023. Subsequently, she accepted invitations to the 2024 London Design Festival in the UK and the 2024 "ROTOR" Contemporary Art Exhibition at the Louvre in France. Her works have been collected multiple times by entities such as Huawei Group, LV-Hennessy, and AUDI. She has also had successful experiences with auction houses. Her public artworks have been installed in multiple cities as spiritual fortresses, making outstanding contributions to international public art projects. Notably, she won the second prize in the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics Sculpture Installation Works Competition.

Deng Xiao's works demonstrate high artistic value, profound philosophical and artistic contemplation, and contemporary expression. She has been interviewed by professional art media, including the UK's TATE official media (2024 Spring Issue), UK Harper's Bazaar 2024 Autumn Art Section, and UK ELLE Decoration 2024 Autumn Art Section.
