A series of mixed media sculpture and paper on acrylic works by Ellie Niblock, each imbued with their own array of vivid hues and characteristics. The individual works are unique, and crafted by a mix of the artist’s hand and digital processes to create organic, colourful forms. Each serving as a visual representation of memories that are reconstructed again through layered processes, to become a new, glitchy recollection or thought process. The kaleidoscopic archives are stored together, preserving distorted moments in time, drawing comparisons between the brain and the hard drive.
